1. Endowments: Securing financial independence for generations
As with international endowments, the charity aims to continuously increase its capital through contributions. This capital remains untouched and is responsibly invested; the income generated provides long-term support for the Vienna Boys Choir and its partner organizations. Building a growing pool of capital helps cushion risks from global crises or pandemics and compensates for potential losses in touring revenues. In this way, a sustainable financial base is created that ensures independence, allowing daily choir work, voice training, and musical excellence to continue across generations, free from outside influences.
2. Expanding international partnerships and worldwide tours
Charity revenues will enable the creation and long-term development of international partnerships on continents and countries. This makes musical excellence accessible around the globe – even in places where performances would not otherwise be financially possible. It builds bridges between cultures, independent of economic conditions.
3. Long-term investment in infrastructure
The charity provides the basis for a full renovation of the boarding school and the expansion required for the Girls Choir. In addition, significant annual expenses are needed to maintain all buildings. A well-funded charity makes it possible to sustainably invest in modern and inspiring learning and living spaces – environments where children can flourish musically, academically, and personally.
4. Full implementation of value-based personal development
A unique concept to foster ten clearly defined personal traits – such as discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence – will be systematically implemented. What has so far been implicit in the future will be actively supported with charity resources and additionally highly qualified staff. Alongside musical excellence, this approach strengthens children’s character for life – and could later be extended to partner organizations.
5. Scholarships for musically gifted children and youth
Full scholarships will open the campus to socially disadvantaged children. Additional programs will further develop individual talents. Excellence will thus be determined solely by talent and passion – a chance that truly changes lives.
